The Terrain Analysis Lab (TAL) at East Carolina University (ECU) is a multi-disciplinary lab in the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences. The goal of TAL is to aid the production and analyses of digital terrain models (DTM). Our goal is to assist ECU Departments, Centers, and Institutes in research and other applications of point clouds, 3D models, and DTM. We are also working collaboratively with several Federal Agencies, nonprofit organizations, and private companies on topics related to terrestrial laser scanning.
